Join Our Statewide Pro-Life Network
Pro-Life Mississippi has organized the state into seven districts to meet local needs better. Our district teams make a difference by:
- Organizing pro-life outreach booths or educational events
- Connecting families in need with local churches or charitable organizations.
- Building a statewide network of support for families
Together, we can make a profound impact. Our goal is to create a network where every mother feels empowered and supported in choosing life. With access to resources, guidance, and a caring community, we aim to uplift and strengthen families across Mississippi.
Pro‑Life Mississippi / Mississippi Life Alliance — Organizational History
Pro‑Life Mississippi, originally incorporated as Right to Life of Jackson Educational Foundation on April 26, 1984, began with four founding officers: Ned Walsh, Ruth Ann Williams, Laurie Baker, and Harriet Ashley. The organization received its 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt status on October 10, 1985.
As the mission expanded beyond the Jackson area, the organization adopted the name Pro‑Life Mississippi on December 6, 2003, reflecting its statewide reach and commitment.
On January 7, 2026, Pro‑Life Mississippi registered a doing‑business‑as name: Mississippi Life Alliance. While the term “Pro‑Life” clearly communicates the organization’s foundational belief in the sanctity of life, it has increasingly become associated primarily with political debate. The organization’s mission, however, extends far beyond policy.
Mississippi Life Alliance represents a broader, more holistic vision—one centered on supporting life in every stage and circumstance:
-
Supporting mothers and families
-
Strengthening churches and communities
-
Promoting adoption and foster care
-
Offering practical resources and education
-
Building a culture that values every human life
Pro‑Life Mississippi is not affiliated with Mississippi Right to Life or the National Right to Life Committee.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Pro‑Life Mississippi / Mississippi Life Alliance cannot endorse political candidates, consistent with federal regulations governing charitable organizations.
